LUV Concert Series wrap-up: Showcasing artistic excellence in BIPOC communities

After eight incredible performances by rappers and singers selected to showcase artistic excellence in BIPOC communities, the inaugural season of the LUV Concert Series has officially come to an end.

The series kicked off on April 20 with Toronto’s own Nadia Stone, and featured an array of diverse Canadian acts including Tia Bank$, Benita, DijahSB, Liyah, LolaBunz, Naya Ali, and—premiering just yesterday—a performance by 3x JUNO-nominee Melanie Durrant.

Each artist showcased four to five songs from their catalogues, with some of the artists bringing in backup dancers, singers, or DJs for support. Liyah even made an appearance during Tia Bank$’s electrifying set to perform their popular collaboration, “Thankful.”

All eight of the performance videos are available now on HipHopCanada, as well as the official LUV Concert Series website, LUVConcertSeries.com.

Along with the videos and more information about the artists that took part, the official website has newly released LUV Concert Series merchandise including tank tops and t-shirts which are available now for purchase.

The LUV Concert Series was produced by More Music Management in partnership with HipHopCanada Digital Inc. The series was sponsored in part by FACTOR, Canada’s Private Radio Broadcasters, and Ontario Creates.
