Da Crook enlists Jay On The Juice & Charlie B for melodic anthem “Do You Dirty”

Budding Toronto recording artist Da Crook is securing his spot as one of the city’s best with the catchy new single, “Do You Dirty.”

The west-end rapper teamed up with producers and Jay On The Juice and Charlie B for a melodic anthem that shows of his creative growth.

“I wanted to show a little versatility,” Da Crook explained.

“Everybody knows I’m a lyricist. But I wanted to show them I’m more than that. I wanted to show them that maybe other rappers are in trouble.”

The accompanying video was directed by 88everything, and has been viewed just under 25K times since its release on May 28. The visuals follows the Julez Leo-shot “Dial Tone” which just cracked 100K views a few days ago.

“Anyone can relate to me as long as I paint the picture properly,” says Da Crook.

“Everybody has different sides to them. I learned that from my inspirations (like DMX, 50 Cent & Tupac) – listening to music from back in the day that had substance.”

“Do You Dirty” is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day. The single is available on Apple Music, Spotify and various other digital streaming platforms. The song has also been added to our official Spotify playlist, Canadian Fresh.
