5 Day Forecast’s “Elevate” Music Video Tackles The Duality Of Emotions

With his irresistible charisma and infectious smile, open-format DJ and producer 5 Day Forecast has left a lasting impression on the public, especially on female fans. After his successful debut “To The Edge” and the release of “Baby I’m Good,” the Tampa Bay sensation now returns with his third single “Elevate.”

The Dubstep track is accompanied by a music video that features a young girl struggling to get over her ex. The gloomy visuals, accentuated by red lights and empty rooms, transmit the song’s heartbreaking story onto the public. The audience connects with the wounded woman who is torn between mixed emotions. Although wanting to let go, she is still holding on to her old memories.

5 Day Forecast stays faithful to the narrative of the song and delivers darker and deeper beats instead of his signature uplifting arrangements. All the inner conflicts and battles one faces post-breakup are translated into the melodies that add an extra depth to the lyrics: “I can hear whispers from far away/ I can’t hide but I’ll try/ I see the walls are caving in/ But I’m not ready to fly/ If I were to stay in here forever/ I would want the sun to come alive.”

Focusing on the five EDM styles, Tropical House, Progressive House, Tech House, Dubstep, and Future House, 5 Day hopes to continue releasing tracks that showcase his experimental skills and the avant-garde outlook on the future of the genre. His latest tracks “Baby I’m Good” and “Elevate” pave the way for the producer to further establish himself as one of the artists to look out for in 2023.
