Pat Mac Talks Shallowness And Toxicity In Debut Pop-Punk Single “Hollow”

Australian punk-pop singer-songwriter Pat Mac debuts his music career with a magnificent first single, the pop-punk song and lyric video titled “Hollow.” The song was inspired by one of the worst nights of his life, when he met the shallowest and most toxic people ever. As he went home that night, he imagined the chorus, “caught by a girl, she’s so damn hollow, I’d pay just to spend the night without her.”

The soundscape is extremely catchy, as Pat Mac excels at bringing punk and pop together in an unpredictable fashion that proves its impact from start to finish.

This horrible night turned out to be quite useful for Pat Mac who transformed it into his debut single and launch of what seems like will become a successful career in the genre. Both for mainstream listeners and aficionados of the genre, “Hollow” marks the beginning of something we are going to follow closely in the coming days, as Pat Mac is going to drop his debut EP Wait On on the 18th of June.
