BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money” has found a strong audience with 30 million plays on Spotify as well as 264K TikTok uses to date. It is produced by BeatGodz, Romano, and London Jae and appears on BIA’s 2020 album, FOR CERTAIN. On the track, BIA raps about how she loves to flex her designer garb even on a trip to the bodega.
More recently, BIA teamed up with the NHL to release the “NHL Mix” of her single “Skate.” The original CBMix-produced “Skate” was featured on FOR CERTAIN, and the remix was adopted by the NHL as an official theme song of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
“Turning ‘Skate’ into the NHL’s playoff theme song was so natural and fun to do, can’t wait to see who wins the Cup. Go Bruins!” – BIA
“We love working with music artists and labels for promotional and programming content,” said NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer.
“Music is a great way to get people’s attention in a creative way. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to work with BIA, her team and Epic Records on new lyrics and a music video for ‘Skate’ that will bring an added level of excitement for the Playoffs and help create new fans.”
