Mississauga artists Gudini and J.O. Mairs have released fresh visuals in support of their collaborative 2020 EP, Contra.
The newly released “Air It Out” was directed by AkURATESHOT, who brings in Gudini and J.O. as the main characters of an arcade game—playing perfectly to the EP’s theme.
J.O. Mairs & Gudini
“Contra” is a collaborative project by Gudini and J.O. Mairs, two seasoned emcee’s from an era where bars and lyrical skill were the focal point of rap. The project is named after the popular retro two-player co-op game, “Contra.” In a nutshell, the game is set in the distant future and stars two commandos who were sent to shoot shit up and save the world from alien forces. Gu and J.O. are basically embodying these heroes to save rap, simultaneously bodying the wack emcee’s on the way.
You can find Contra on various digital streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify via Mairs Society / R-Way.
