A few weeks ago, we shared the pre-save for the official CapCityHipHop single debut, “Did It Myself.”
The ArazOnTheBeat-produced record premiered on June 24 with features from Calgary’s AK-Slim and Ottawa’s JAIoftheRise. It’s the first of several new singles expected from the Ottawa-based media company in 2022, culminating with the release of an album / compilation towards the end of the year.
The “Did It Myself” video, which has already pulled in over 5K views, was shot in each artist’s respective city, with Ben Telford Visuals shooting in Ottawa, Sadat R holding it down in Calgary, and Toronto-mainstay MyNameFrench enlisted for editing. Along with the two artists, the video also features a cameo from CapCityHipHop founder Nathan “Thrilla” Gravelle.
“Did It Myself” is available now on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms.
