A representative for the singer confirmed to People magazine that Grande intends to prioritize her well-being after the tour, noting that she “looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

In addition to the hiatus, it has been confirmed that the singer will no longer participate in the stage revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George. The Eternal Sunshine tour marks Grande’s first major concert series in nearly seven years, showcasing material from Eternal Sunshine (2024), Positions (2020), and her latest project, petal.
