Toronto’s DijahSB releases the “New Balance” single & lyric video

Toronto-based rapper DijahSB recently returned with a catchy new single that comes as a perfect fit for the summer season. “New Balance” is Dijah’s first release since dropping the Chris Castello-assisted “Overtime” which dropped back in March.

The new single was originally announced on July 9th, and a few days later Dijah posted a powerful message to celebrate International Non-Binary People’s Day.

“it’s ya fav non binary rapper on non binary peoples day proud to say I can identify with this community and found the strength to be myself after discovering this perfect definition. if you knew dij in middle school or high school you know they struggled with being called all sorts of things I never knew I even was at the time just because of the way I dressed. being non binary allowed me to reclaim a lot of the trauma I faced being constantly misgendered as a way to tear me down. I’m proud of who I’ve become 🧍🏾‍♀”

The Cheap Limousine-produced “New Balance” is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day. The single is available on various digital streaming platforms including Spotify where it’s racked up over 14K streams to date. You can also find the track on our official Spotify playlist, Canadian Fresh.

“New Balance” was released with a new lyric video featuring artwork by fffrigoli and animation by madebysoraya. Check it out below.
