Toronto-based éz catches a buzz with his latest single “2CB”

Colombian-born hip-hop artist éz has been building a buzz, and his latest single has proven to be one of his biggest drops to date. “2CB,” which was released to DSPs on April 22, has been streamed over 36K times to date on Spotify.

éz’s buzz started growing shortly after he began hosting music festivals and club nights at different venues throughout Toronto, and grew even stronger with the release of his first cohesive EP in 2019, The Care Package.

The EP was followed by his 2020 single, “The Moment“—which was released during the pandemic—and a cinematic trilogy of singles/videos that included “Things Changed” and “Know Lies.”

According to éz, each song tells the story of heartbreak that inspired the young Colombian-Canadian MC to get back into music.

“2CB” immediately grabs your attention with hard hitting aggressive bars complimented with a 808 bass filled beat. The single is expected to receive visual support in the near future powered by a Mazzuca Media and Winrow Productions.

In addition to promoting his new music, éz has also been on tour across Canada with Canadian hip-hop heavyweights Boslen and KTOE. The tour continues picks back up in Europe later this month. Check out “2CB” below and stay tuned for the video.
