Earlier today, SoundCloud announced the newest episode of its docu-series, First on SoundCloud, which has been running since March 2018. Each episode of the docu-series gives fans an intimate glance at the lives of nine emerging artists selected to be part of its First on SoundCloud 2022 class.
The latest episode features Georgia rapper Pote Baby, who pays tribute to his hometown of Savannah and his experience growing up in the city. The two-minute vignette focuses on Pote’s love for music and how he built his career through perseverance and belief in himself.
Pote Baby recently held his third annual Pote Day Weekend in September, which was followed by a proclamation from the city of Savannah declaring September 12th as “Pote Day.” The event hosted upwards of 600 attendees and included a homecoming concert with performances from Pote Baby and local Savannah artists. The rapper also recently released his latest seven-track EP, Pote Day 2, available across digital streaming platforms.
Stay tuned for more from First on SoundCloud including episodes featuring Isabella Lovestory, Kelow LaTesha, Nezi Momodu, riela, ROSEMARIE, and TITUS.
