After being featured on the Sawlid (aka Nic Grhymes) single, “9and3mi6,” (with Sir Jax) last July, Ottawa singer-songwriter Roelyn Wilde has been hard at work, perfecting her craft in the studio.
Wilde recently celebrated her birthday with the release for official single debut, “My Type,” which features Sawlid as the last verse, and engineering by Ottawa mainstay Quest.
So far, “My Type” has found some success on popular indie platform, SoundClick, with the single hitting the #22 spot on the R&B/Soul/Pop charts.
It’s unclear if there’s a video for “My Type” in the works, but you should definitely expect some more new music from Wilde before the end of the year. You can stream “My Type” now on Apple Music, Spotify, and other digital streaming platforms via Raw Etiquette.
