Haviah Mighty discusses the creative process behind her “Flamenco” single

Toronto’s Haviah Mighty has released new footage documenting the making of “Flamenco” featuring Grammy-winner Mala Rodríguez. Produced by Haviah and Taabu, “Flamenco” hit digital streaming platforms on August 13th via Migthy Gang Inc. (with Rodríguez appearing courtesy of Universal Music Latino).

“Haviah Mighty details the creative process behind ‘Flamenco Ft. Mala Rodríguez” and goes live with Taabu.”

Haviah premiered the song at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Canada on the day of the song’s release (footage below). The song is expected to appear on her next mixtape, Stock Exchange.

“With this one, I wanted to try something different,” Haviah said of the collaboration.

“Inspired by the cultural influences behind flamenco, this song allowed me to be a guest in a new genre. Mala Rodríguez really brought this record home — her verse added authenticity, sensuality, and pizzazz. She has a great voice and message, and with her Spanish roots, I felt that she spoke to the energy of the song more directly than I ever could.”

You can find “Flamenco” on Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms. Check out the newly released footage powered by Infinity Films below.
