500 M Liquid: Former Raptors star DeMar DeRozan teams up with Problem for debut single

Former Toronto Raptors star DeMar DeRozan recently showcased his lyrical abilities with a preview of his debut single, “500 M Liquid.”

The song, which features fellow Compton rapper Problem, was posted in its entirety to DeRozan’s Instagram and Twitter accounts a couple of days ago.

It’s unclear if the song will be released to digital streaming platforms, but you can check it out below via YouTube and IG. The image, which appears to be serving as the artwork for the single, was shot by Baltimore’s Reginald Thomas II, the team photographer for DeRozan’s former team, the San Antonio Spurs.

In case you missed it, DeRozan was just recently traded to the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade deal for forwards Thaddeus Young and Al-Farouq Aminu and draft picks. Training camp for the 2021-22 campaign will begin on September 28th, and the regular season begins on October 19th.
