Charlotte, N.C. artist Victoria Elizabeth shares the stunning and cinematic new video for her standout single, “Missed Call,” that shows off her impressive range as both a singer and emcee.
The track stems from her intoxicating EP, Last Call, which dropped back in March of last year. And Victoria brings “Missed Call” to life here with some help from the Film Club directorial team. The visuals center on the rising artist and her crew, who get to flaunt their stellar dancing skills in different parts of the Queen City.
On its own, “Missed Call” actually achieves more than simply demonstrating just how talented Victoria is as a vocalist. Her writing game is on full display as well, and she brilliantly weaves wordplay, narrative, and a bit of braggadocio into her verses, whether she’s singing or spitting rapid bars over the slick instrumental supplied by Kevin Katana.
