After pulling in over half a million Spotify streams on his breakout single, “Hood Cry,” budding Ottawa recording artist TwoTiime kicks off January 2021 with the release of his latest offering, “Slower.”
The new Sixty-produced banger comes on the heels of a massive publicity boost from the Fortnite gaming community who embraced TwoTiime’s November release “Keep It Real” as a go-to choice for their video montages. To date, Fortnite videos featuring TwoTiime account for upwards of 4 million views on YouTube, with new videos still being uploaded daily.
It’s just one of several huge accomplishments the young star made in 2020. “Slower” serves as a perfect way to kick start the 2021 campaign. The new song sees TwoTiime explaining the need for patience and doing things right as he steps closer to stardom.
“Nowadays, in a world full of instant gratification, everyone wants everything now,” says TwoTiime of the single.
“Sometimes you gotta take things slower. Whether it’s relationships, business, or dreams. I’m just here to remind y’all!”
“Slower” arrives with stunning video support powered by veteran Ottawa-based videographer, Ben Telford Visuals. Telford was also responsible for shooting TwoTiime’s video for “Bigger Issues,” which has over 150K views since late October 2020.
“I think one of the main things that sets TwoTiime apart from so many other artists is the way he brings the visuals to life with his energy and confidence,” explains Telford.
“With the ‘Slower’ video, I really wanted to focus on capturing that energy, while including some fresh new locations and a unique editing style to compliment the track.”
The new single will be available on all major digital streaming platforms on January 27, 2021 via Twiice Records.
