Trap Lore Ross takes a look at the story of Big Durk, the father of acclaimed Chicago rap star, Lil Durk. As Ross reports, in the 90’s, Big Durk (born Dontay Banks, Sr.) was a major player in a crack-cocaine distribution ring and was eventually arrested in 1993. He reportedly had over $8 million dollars in his possession at the time of his arrest.
Big Durk’s son, future hip-hop star Lil Durk, was just a baby at the time, having been born on October 19, 1992.
This new video isn’t as long as some of Ross’ other recent uploads but it does a great job telling Big Durk’s story in the 20+ minute runtime.
