Popular UK YouTuber Trap Lore Ross takes a look at one of the most infamous hip-hop beefs from the early 2000s, and “How 50 Cent ENDED Ja Rule’s Career.” TLR looks at how the beef ignited in 1999, and how it would impact the careers of both artists, notably Ja Rule.
And the beef may be old but as people know, 50 Cent doesn’t let up. As the Independent reported in Oct. 2018, “50 Cent claimed he had bought 200 tickets – at a total of around $3,000 – for the fellow rapper’s upcoming show, so Ja Rule would be performing to a section of empty seats at the gig on 9 November in Texas.”
In other 50 Cent news, the G-Unit rapper just released his NLE Choppa and Rileyy Lanezz-assisted “Part of the Game (Extended Version).” The track will serve as the theme song for the upcoming Power Book III: Raising Kanan show, premiering in Summer 2021.
Set in the 90s, the prequel Power Book III: Raising Kanan series will track the early years of 50 Cent’s Power character Kanan. Mekai Curtis stars as a young Kanan in the new series, joined by other cast that includes Omar Epps (House), London Brown (Ballers), and Joey Bada$$ (Mr. Robot).
