UK-based hip-hop blogger Trap Lore Ross has released an in-depth and well-researched look into the long-standing gang war taking place in Chicago between BDs (Black Disciples) and GDs (Gangster Disciples). Both gangs have heavy and high profile representation in the rap game, and their collective Chicago neighbourhoods are considered the birthplace of drill music.
The video comes just days after the murder of Chicago rap star and known Black Disciple King Von who was killed in Atlanta. It also discusses the death of Gangster Disciple and rapper FBG Duck, who was killed in Chicago on August 4, 2020.
