Ruste Juxx & BigBob Pattison drop new video for “Amerikkkan”

Canadian producer BigBob Pattison and New York rapper Ruste Juxx have dropped fresh visuals in support of their collaborative album, Culturally Rich.

The new video for “Amerikkkan,” directed by Olise Forel for Moving Silence, comes as the United States sees civil rights protests reignite in the wake of the horrifying shooting of Jacob Blake Jr. The 29-year-old was shot seven times in the back this past weekend by Kenosha, Wisconsin police. Protests demanding an end to police brutality and racial inequality have been on going around the US since George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police back in May.

Back in April, we caught up with producer BigBob, a native of Wasage Beach, Ontario, to discuss how Culturally Rich came together:

“The blueprint for Culturally Rich was devised in a waterfront park on Lake Ontario with Ruste Juxx in the fall of 2018. Culturally Rich is a follow up to another rare project we previously worked on together released by ESI, The Ruste Juxx Collection. It was great to see our growth from that project and come together again and to create more hip-hop classics.”

You can find the album on various digital streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify via Elite Sound International.
