West Coast rapper Merklues returns with yet another new gem produced by C-Lance. The melodious “In Your Feelings” joins a huge catalogue of big records released by Merk this year including the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony-assisted “Homicide” and the Jelly Roll-assisted “Twisted.”
Mixed by Nato Down—one half of acclaimed Edmonton duo Touch & Nato—”In Your Feelings” was released with artwork by Jionni Hamilton, and a promotional video by Sonik.
Along with the new song, Merk also posted a video for fans which addresses his sobriety and recent absence from dropping new music.
“Listen, I’m making this video because I’m officially back. I took a little bit of a break from releasing stuff. Shout out to everybody that’s been supporting me through my sobriety. I’m in the treatment centre now, we’re killing it over here. I’ve got a great group of guys that got my back and I’ve got theirs. I’ve got my studio over here so I’ve been recording like a mad man.”
Merk’s latest release to reach DSPs is a new collaboration with Hopsin, “Not Like You.” Stream it now on Spotify, and other platforms.
