Toronto-based up-and-comer DojaBoyTan recently teamed up with director Markian Klufas to create the new video for “In the Castle.” The visual was premiered earlier today on 6ixBuzz, and it comes in support of Tan’s new EP, The Town.
The 9-track project pays tribute to his hometown of Port Hope, Ontario, and was produced by old friends from the region.
“I was inspired by my environment there to really put my head into music,” Tan told Sidedoor Magazine.
“When I moved to Toronto, I realized I wasn’t really around my roots, or living the life that made my sound super unique in the first place anymore.”
The Town features one guest appearance by Jimmy Yitty (“19 in East York”), and a pair from Ry21 (“Wildin’” and “Backseat”).
