Emerging Calgary MC Trip J has been creating quite the buzz for himself out west with releases like “Waste of My Time,” the LYNZI-assisted “H.M.U.” (with Tyler August), and more.
Coming off his first major producer collaboration with CashMoneyAP, the Edmonton-based rapper releases the energetic “Borona” single. Trip jumps right in with fiery 16s, at points hopping in out of Drake, as well as Lecrae-like flows.
Trip J is one of the new generation of artists coming from Canada who seem to believe in putting messages as well as meaning in his records, this can be heard with this latest release.
The Blackrose Productionz-produced “Borona” is available on Spotify and various other digital streaming platforms.
