Drake has released a wild and hilarious new visual in support of Certified Lover Boy. Even if you don’t like the song, you should experience the video.
The TM88 and Too Dope-produced “Way 2 Sexy,” which samples Right Said Fred’s ’92 hit “I’m Too Sexy,” sees director Dave Meyers putting Drake and the guys in random, elaborate and extravagant situations that will likely catch you off guard on first watch. It’s reminiscent of the elaborate videos Eminem would release back in the day in support of his lead off singles, with Em taking on different roles and wearing costumes.
In the new video, Drizzy, Future and Young Thug take on all kinds of interesting roles including cartoon characters, a workout instructor, a pirate, an older rich guy with a pot belly at the beach, boy band members (featuring former Toronto Raptors MVP Kawhi Leonard), a RAMBO-like guy named DRAMBO, a cologne spokesperson, a lumberjack, and even more.
“Directed by Dave Meyers, the absolutely wild ‘Way 2 Sexy’ visual shows all frequent collaborators having a lot of fun, with a slew of references to iconic music moments and movies.” – Complex
Notably, the video starts with the warning that “Repeated viewing may lead to a pregnancy.” So, you’ve been warned.
