Giving fans only a week to digest his previous video from June 15th, Dax has just released his third official visual of the month.
Dax’s new “Forgot About Dre” remix was unlocked by fans after the Ottawa-native challenged them to share his message and drops comments to see the new release.
“500 RETWEETS to UNLOCK my Dr. Dre ft. Eminem ‘Forgot About Dre’ Remix… if we get it I DROP in 20 hours. GO!”
Coming at no surprise, Dax’s legion of fans achieved the requested goal well before the deadline and unlocked the video. “Forgot About Dre” features Dax flexing his lyrical abilities over the classic Eminem-assisted Dr. Dre track, “Forgot About Dre,” off the 1999 release, The Chronic 2001.
The visual was shot by Logan Meis, who worked with Dax on his previous videos “Apocalypse,” the 10+ minute “The Next Rap God,” and the most recent, “Why So Serious?“
So far, Dax’s new remix has been viewed more than 940,000 times, and is currently sitting at #24 on YouTube’s Trending for Music list.
