Why Are Ye and Ty Beefing?

Ye and Ty formed a duo and released the albums Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, on Feb. 10, 2024, and Aug. 3, 2024, respectively. A third volume was supposed to follow. However, the release was put on hold as Ye completed his Bully album, which is now titled Cuck.

Yeezy and Ty’s friendship fractured after Ty seemed to separate himself from his volatile rhyme partner when Ye began posting offensive tweets and dissing rappers back in February.

“I don’t condone any form of hate speech towards anybody,” Ty wrote on his Instagram Story.

“I don’t need to be condoned,” Ye responded. He later dissed Ty and claimed the record label made Ty make the statement. Ye then called out Ty during an interview with DJ Akademiks while wearing a Ku Klux Klan robe in March.

“You letting these ni**as put word in your mouth,” Ye said. “I 137 x’d his career. And while I’m on the plane, you put up word by word Jewish vernacular. We can sit and talk it out. I know they on your head. But, ni**a, you don’t go to denounce me.”

Ye later announced he was pulling Ty’s contributions from upcoming projects.
