Kevin Gates and LeBron James are shading each other after the rapper commented about LBJ’s wife, Savannah James.
Kevin Gates and LeBron James Beef Erupts
On April 19, the Louisiana rapper shared a video online discussing a conversation about LeBron, specifically if Gates would want to trade places with the billionaire ball player. Gates declined, reasoning that he doesn’t like the way Savannah looks at LeBron.
“I like the way them White women look at LeBron,” Gates says in the video below. “As soon as he walk out there they be d**ked out. But I notice when he go do the handshake with [Savannah], it’s like you act like I’m bothering you, b***h.”
LeBron Appears to Respond
On Sunday (April 20), LeBron appeared to respond to Gates’ comment in a post on Instagram. The post features two photos of Savannah looking at LeBron endearingly.
“Kings don’t concern themselves with the opinions of peasants,” LeBron captioned the post. “Where to next Queen?!?! Let’s get it!”

Kevin Gates Has the Last Word
Kevin Gates responded to LeBron’s post on Monday (April 21). “The truth hurts but it heels,” Gates says in the video below. “Bron, I love you, ’cause you my ni**a.”
Gates surmises that Savannah made LeBron respond but behind closed doors LeBron agrees with him.
“As long as you celebrated, I don’t care who don’t like me,” Gates continues. “’Cause you my ni**a and I love you. So, I don’t care if I gotta fall out with somebody I love to get the results. We gon’ get the results. But if anybody need [help] I’m a life coach and a guru, 24 hours.”
