Bob Dylan’s 39th album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, came out in 2020. If, for some reason, you haven’t been able to go see any of the adjoining show since the tour began in Milwaukee in 2021, there’s still time! Dylan has announced that the Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour will continue into 2026, adding Midwest and Deep South dates to the already massive itinerary that has included over 300 shows spread across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The tour’s conclusion was originally billed for 2024 but has now been yanked into another year, starting in late March. Dylan will hit up some theaters, arenas, and auditoriums on his trek, making stops in the usual places (Detroit and Cleveland) and some smaller ones (Waukegan, Spartanburg, Dothan). It reminds me of the Rolling Thunder Revue taking place in cities (or towns and villages) that no rock and roll icon would consider going to. Dylan’s cool like that. The Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour is set to conclude on May 1 in Abilene, Texas. The “Never-Ending” tour just got longer.
