Sónar 2025 Unveils 50 New Acts for Barcelona This June

Sónar 2025 has unveiled over 50 new additions to its musical lineup, bringing the total number of scheduled performances to 117. This year’s festival will take place across 10 stages in Barcelona from June 10th to 15th.

Among the latest confirmations are live performances from artists such as Pa Salieu, Sega Bodega, Dengue Dengue Dengue, and Josh Caffé, along with DJ sets from Dixon, Ultra Naté, and a special tribute to the late Ryuichi Sakamoto by Alva Noto and Fennesz. The lineup highlights a diverse array of genres, featuring Nathy Peluso’s upcoming remix album and innovative acts like Safety Trance and Animistic Beliefs.

This 32nd edition of the festival emphasizes originality and creative cross-genre collaborations. Attendees can expect everything from Pa Salieu’s afrobeat influences to Sega Bodega’s unique club and pop fusion. Additionally, the lineup includes many house and techno artists, with exciting b2b sets from Skee Mask b2b Actress and Dee Diggs with Ultra Naté.

Sónar 2025 will also see the introduction of Boiler Room’s stage at Sónar by Night, promising an unmissable experience. The festival will continue its collaboration with Printworks London, showcasing their renowned SonarLab x Printworks stage, complete with impressive visual and audio setups.

Previous confirmations include performances by Plastikman, Arca, Eric Prydz, and many others, all enhancing the festival’s reputation as the epicenter of electronic music and innovation.

The festival kicks off on June 12th with a concert at Palau de la Música Catalana, featuring works by Steve Reich and Raquel García-Tomás. Sónar+D will explore themes like AI creativity and the future of the creative industries.
