Electronic progressive house artist Isaiah Wafer continues his ascension in music with the release of a full collection of tracks dropped under the form of an album titled Quarantine. Generously listing twenty tracks, Isaiah takes listeners on a memorable trip through a multitude of vibes, emotions and energies that sustain throughout the album. Junior Paes, Amitav and Michael McQuaid are featured on four tracks.
This festival-oriented project is set to trigger heavy emotional responses on listeners’ part and accompany, all throughout Wafer’s sophisticated fusion of house genres, dubstep, and trap.
In a recent interview with Nuevo Culture, the emerging electronic music artist talked about the idea behind this new album:
“So the idea was simple. I wanted to create a major festival DJ set. So every song on this album has a specific purpose. You have songs like ‘Runaway’ and ‘Heaven After All,’ which are made to trigger heavy emotional responses. Then you have tracks like ‘Virus’ where I wanted that bass just to punch the audience in the chest. So I created each song on this album with the stage in mind. What would my DJ set need? And then, I would address that need by creating a song that fills that gap.”
