The DJ LAB PRO open call is now live — and we’re looking for emerging DJs from Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe ready to grow, connect, and take the next step in their creative careers.
Co-funded by the European Union through LIVEMX, DJ LAB PRO is the first initiative of its kind in Europe: a system built to support DJ’s not only through performance, but through strategic development, mentorship, and infrastructure. At its core, the project is about amplifying visibility, facilitating access, and bridging the gap between raw talent and sustainable presence in the industry.
The journey begins with a personalized DJ Skills Matrix self-assessment, helping each participant identify their strengths and development areas — and set a clear direction for growth. The program continues with a one-day bootcamp and workshop during Carbon Silesia Festival (June 13–14, 2025, Poland). It culminates in a performance on the Fresh Faces Stage — a curated platform spotlighting boundary-pushing selectors, and a statement of what the future of the scene can look like.

From July to January, selected participants join a 6-month mentorship journey tailored to the realities of today’s music landscape. The program explores topics such as visibility, booking strategies, music marketing, career design, sustainability, and healthy mindset. Confirmed mentors do far include Elisa Luengo (Dekmantel Festival),Natalia San Juan (FemNoise), Virtual Geisha (VG DJ LAB) Skyote Moon (Synthesis Agency), Michelle Ronquillo, Andrew Apanov (Dotted Music) — professionals actively shaping the European electronic music ecosystem. “This is the program I wish had existed when I started — one that actually listens, supports, and builds a future for the next generation,”
