From July 11th-13th, Awakenings Festival returns to the fields and lakesides of Hilvarenbeek in the Netherlands, and with it comes a tidal wave of techno’s biggest stars and most forward-thinking artists. For over 27 years, Awakenings has shaped the sound of European techno culture. It has been key in evolving the scene while remaining committed to its core values of music quality, community and experience. Its 2025 edition doubles down on that promise.
Now spanning three days and drawing nearly 100,000 fans, Awakenings is Europe’s flagship techno festival and a legendary cultural cornerstone for dance music lovers from all across the globe. Whether you’re looking for heads-down warehouse stompers, shimmering melodic techno, or experimental sounds from the fringes, Awakenings has a space and a sound for it.
The lineup is always mega and this year features icons, innovators and plenty of underground heat. This year’s billing includes a who’s who of techno royalty such as Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, Richie Hawtin, Adriatique, Marco Carola and Ben Klock, alongside hard and heavy-hitters like 999999999, Indira Paganotto, FJAAK and I Hate Models. Also on deck will be heady underground favourites like DJ Nobu, VTSS, Freddy K and DJ Gigola, plus house-infused flavours from artists like Hot Since 82 x Prunk and Chris Stussy.

At the heart of Awakenings is its dreamlike camping experience, a mini-village by the lake that hosts wellness sessions, yoga, sound baths and its own after-dark parties that stretch deep into the night.
