Indiana rapper Kid Quill has recruited Toronto artist Pressa for his new single, “Mood Ring,” which has already managed to garner over 189K Spotify streams to date. “Mood Ring” features production by Caye, as well as Kevin Randolph, who has previously collaborated with artists like Kanye West, Logic, and BJ The Chicago Kid.
“‘Mood Ring’ felt like the perfect left-of-center collab for Pressa and me: a song ppl wouldn’t expect, which is something I always like to do with my records,” Kid Quill explained to Aupium.
“The song is about just having your best day, and about going to get what’s yours, and not taking ‘no’ for an answer. I hope it finds a spot and helps as everyone moves through their day-to-day life trials.”
The track also marks Pressa’s first solo appearance since his successful June release “Second Hand Smoke” which has garnered almost 1.5 million Spotify streams to date. The song will be included on his upcoming release, Gardner Express (Deluxe).
You can listen to “Mood Ring” on Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Norham Road Records.
