D4vd Accused of Impregnating Celeste Rivas Hernandez Prior to Murder

D4vd, the artist born David Anthony Burke, currently faces serious legal scrutiny as his preliminary hearing continues regarding the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. While Burke has entered a plea of not guilty, Los Angeles County prosecutors have introduced significant evidence, including recovered digital communications and photographs, that shed light on the nature of his relationship with the victim.

During Friday’s proceedings, LAPD detective Corey Farrell provided testimony regarding evidence extracted from Burke’s mobile device. The recovered data, which spans from November 2023 through March 2025, reportedly depicts the pair engaging in sexual acts. Furthermore, prosecutors allege that these communications confirm Burke impregnated Hernandez when she was 13 years old and subsequently influenced her decision to undergo an abortion.

In one exchange presented to the court, Burke reportedly asked, “It is mine right?” to which Hernandez replied, “of course its yours David.” Later messages indicate that Hernandez expressed deep regret regarding the procedure, writing to Burke, “I care about u i killed my kid [for] you….id do anything to have it back.”

The evidence submitted at the hearing also highlights the volatile nature of their relationship, including discussions about meeting at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas and Burke’s stated intentions for Hernandez to move into his home and eventually marry him in Italy. Prosecutors contend that the couple was involved in a heated argument the night before the alleged killing, during which Hernandez reportedly confronted Burke about his interactions with other women. If convicted of the charges, Burke could face the death penalty.
