Polish electronic duo SARAPATA has firmly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the global techno scene. Following the release of their second studio album in May, the brothers have continued to push boundaries, recently unveiling a fresh, driving remix of their track “Yorokobi” by producer Edvvin. Known for their captivating live performances and a distinct, emotionally resonant approach to production, the duo is proving that techno can be as much about vulnerability as it is about the dancefloor.
The centerpiece of their 2024 artistic output is undoubtedly their latest album, Radical Kindness. This project serves as a testament to their evolution, showcasing a sound that is both technically sophisticated and deeply human.
The Genesis of Radical Kindness
The creative process behind Radical Kindness was one of intentional isolation. In early 2023, the brothers retreated to a remote cottage in the Slovakian mountains, far removed from the distractions of urban life. This seclusion allowed them to strip away the noise and focus on the core of their sound, resulting in the foundational tracks that define the album’s atmosphere.
By blending elements of IDM and melodic techno, SARAPATA has crafted a sonic landscape that feels both expansive and intimate. The production is rich with euphoric keyboard melodies, layered drum machine patterns, and warm, analogue textures that invite the listener into a state of deep immersion.
