SXSW 2026 announces more music programming

Starting next Thursday, SXSW will take over Austin, Texas, for the 40th year. Over 1,000 artists will flood the city’s clubs and venues across seven days, including Lola Young, the All-American Rejects, BigXthaPlug, Joshua Ray Walker, Kaash Paige, and DeVotchKa. Rolling Stone, Luck Presents, Sony Music Latin, DreamCon, Billboard, NPR, LA Times De Los, and us here at Paste are just a few of the outlets curating events for music fans and industry figures alike. In its final wave of news, SXSW has shared more music programming.

Jack Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez will perform together in support of SURFILMUSIC’s premiere, while Vic Mensa plans to feature burgeoning acts through livestream submissions. Benny the Butcher, EMJAY, JayDon, Ty Dolla $ign, Ingrid Andress, The Paradox, Geordie Greep, and Hiroko Yamamura are also slated to perform during the festival. Spotify also announced Spotify 20: Live at Stubb’s, a 20-year anniversary showcase celebrating the streaming service’s history. Alanis Morissette, Ella Langley, and St. Vincent are set to appear. The SXSW music conference will also hold an in-conversation event with Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien. 

Other artists set to appear at showcases and events next weekend include TTSSFU, Marissa Nadler, Passion Pit, True Jackson, cootie catcher, Shallowater, Endearments, Future Nobodies, Liz Cooper, BALACLAVA, and hundreds of others. Get all the info you need about this year’s SXSW Music Conference here.
