Clif Jack’s interpretation of Mauro Picotto’s classic ‘Komodo (Save A Soul)’ is out on Armada Music

Armada Music presents the next on its list of reimagined Mauro Picotto classics, this time it’s Clif Jack’s interpretation of the seminal ‘Komodo (Save A Soul)’.

It’s a techno twist on the original that adds acid-inspired sounds, and gives a fresh take on the vocal. This rendition is the ideal spearhead of the third volume of Mauro Picotto’s ‘Claxixx’ series!

Mauro Picotto’s chart-topping classic Komodo (Save A Soul) was released in 2000, and remains a seminal dance music classic.

Hailing from Padova in Italy, Clif Jack is a masterful techno artist, known for his high-octane style that layers thrilling synths and hammering drums. He heads up the MJA the Vision record label which he frequents with his own music, but his tracks can also be found on other prestigious record labels such as Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid, Sam Paganini’s JAM, and Spartaque’s Codex.

Clif Jack’s music is regularly supported by DJs ranging from Richie Hawtin to Adam Beyer, and he is a skilled DJ who regularly plays headline shows across Europe and beyond.

The rework turns the original’s melody into a hypnotic arpeggio and works in a trippy acid line. It has a euphoric breakdown where the original’s vocal takes centre stage, and its piledriving groove is powered by the explosive energy of pounding drums.
