Over the past few days, a ton of new trailers have been released for upcoming Netflix features. One that we’re really looking forward to is Colin in Black & White, produced by Colin Kaepernick and American filmmaker, Ava DuVernay. The series explores Kaepernick’s high school years and the experiences that led him to become an activist.
Kaepernick, a former second-round draft pick and San Francisco 49ers quarterback, made headlines in 2016 when he began kneeling on the sidelines during the national anthem to protest police brutality and social injustice.
“Some people play the game. Others change it. From Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay, follow the path of one ordinary high school kid who became extraordinary. Jaden Michael stars as young Colin Kaepernick in Colin in Black & White.”
Colin in Black & White will be available for streaming on Netflix as of October 29th.
