Varun Sheel’s Creative Spark Ignites “Over You”

Varun Sheel ‘s musical foundation was set in a home filled with both Western and Bollywood influences, thanks to his father, a talented singer and harmonium player. This diverse background has deeply influenced Sheel’s approach to music. Teaching himself guitar, Sheel has skillfully integrated traditional music elements with modern indie pop vibes.

Known for his innovative sound, Sheel combines diverse musical styles to create songs that resonate with his audience. His latest track, “Over You,” continues to showcase his ability to blend different influences, building on the emotional impact of his previous hit, “More than Friends.”

Sheel’s previous single, “More than Friends,” garnered praise for its nostalgic and heartfelt exploration of youthful romance. The track’s infectious blend of looped guitar riffs and ’80s-inspired synths, coupled with Sheel’s soulful vocals and honest lyrics.

His approach showcases his commitment to artistic innovation and his pursuit of new creative avenues. As Varun progresses in his musical career, he remains focused on delivering songs that not only captivate but also forge a genuine connection with listeners globally, striking a balance between novelty and reliability.

Discussing the inspiration for “Over You,” Varun offered a light-hearted story about how the song came to be. “The ideas for the guitar parts, chorus, and pre-chorus struck me suddenly,” he explained. “I was so eager to record them that I dashed out of the shower with a towel, accidentally damaging my rug in the process. While some songs can take years to develop, this one came together in a matter of minutes.”
