Clif Jack’s record label, MJA the Vision presents a sizzling two-track peak time techno release by, ax1om.
ax1om is an exciting new talent who recently made his first-ever release with a track featured on MJA the Vision’s compilation ‘Hiss of Sound VA1.’
This time ax1om is back on MJA the Vision with a solo EP featuring two of his original tracks, which layer hammering drums with sassy vocal tones and grinding synth lines.
It’s an expertly produced release which showcases ax1om to have an innate knowledge of how to set the dance floor alight.
The EP’s title track, “In the Moment” opens proceedings with thrashing hi-hats and menacing melody flutters, which intertwine with dramatic bass stabs, while soulful vocals cut through the darkness to create uplifting undertones.
“Liability” has chugging percussion and a pounding kick drum underpinning swelling pads that create ominous suspense. It’s a smouldering track that unleashes a steady flow of energy, as it unfolds with brooding intensity.
