Watch: The LUV Concert Series returns with budding Montréal artist Naya Ali

The LUV Concert Series is back with a new episode highlighting artistic excellence in Canadian BIPOC communities. Episode 7 features budding Montréal talent, Naya Ali, and her DJ, DJ John Brown, for a riveting five-song performance.

Currently in London, UK for her Canadian / European tour, Ali has been had at work promoting her latest album, Godspeed: Elevated. The project showcases her journey, from her introduction to the rap game, her baptism, and now her elevation. It has a mature tone which acknowledges the very real human emotions Ali has experienced in the past few years, from recording her first songs in her basement to performing on the biggest stages of her province and country.

Ali’s LUV Concert Series set features five songs off the album including “Another One,” “Stop Playin,” “Str8 Up,” “Toronto’s Gold,” and the album intro, “Air Ali.” The supporting video for “Air Ali” has been viewed over 29K times since premiering in Nov. 2020, while the single just recently cracked 200K streams on Spotify.

Produced by More Music Management in partnership with HipHopCanada Digital Inc., the LUV Concert Series will feature a new episode every Sunday and Wednesday up until the finale. The series kicked off with Toronto’s Nadia Stone and has also featured episodes showcasing Tia Bank$, Benita, DijahSB, Liyah and LolaBunz. The last artist on the inaugural LUV Concert Series lineup is previous 3x JUNO-nominee Melanie Durrant next Wednesday, May 18.
